ANNUAL DINNER MEETING

This coming Sunday, April 22nd is our dinner meeting at the Catawba Springs Clubhouse.  Cocktails at 6 (cash bar), Dinner at 6:45 and Meeting at 7:30.  Property owners only and your account must be current.

Please RSVP by “Contact Us” via the website or by calling 828-320-8638 by Thursday, April 19th.  Please leave your name, number in your party and lot number or address.  Seating is limited and please do not call the clubhouse directly.  Check your calendars and call us ASAP.

ATTENTION ALL PROPERTY OWNERS

We want to thank everyone for paying more attention to the look of his or her property.  We’ve contacted several lot owners and asked them to give their vacant lots the once over for downed trees, trash and debris.  We’ve had a positive response.  If you have a vacant lot near or adjacent to your home, please respect that property.  Do not deposit your yard waste on these lots.  Thanks for your help for keeping up the neighborhood.

GARAGE SALE

The 2012 Spring Garage Sale date is May 5th from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.  We will run an ad in the Hickory Daily Record as well as put signs up throughout the neighborhood.  See if your treasures turn into some real cash!

THINKING ABOUT BUILDING A NEW HOME, ADDING AN ADDITION OR GARAGE, OR CONSTRUCTING AN OUTBUILDING?

  • Review building restrictions for each phase; click on the Bylaws and Building Restrictions tab on the Home page
  • Call our Building Chairman Jim Ortmann at 828-624-3326
  • Set up time to submit and review plans to the Association so CSPOA approval can take place in a timely manner; prior approval is necessary before construction begins
  • Apply and receive appropriate permits from the City or County
  • Inform your neighbors so there’s no misunderstanding during the process
  • For new homes — square footage and set back requirements are Phase specific; check the Restrictive Covenants as to what applies to your property
